What we collect and why

Your email address, if you sign up to our newsletter. We use it, with your consent, to send you updates from ByHelen Davies. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by contacting us.

Your name, email address and message, if you contact us. We use these to reply to you.

Basic technical information, such as IP address, browser and pages visited, may be recorded automatically to keep the website secure and working. It is not used to identify you.

Who we share it with

MailerLite sends our newsletter and Squarespace hosts the website. Both process data on our behalf under data-processing agreements.

Some processing takes place outside the UK using the safeguards required by UK law. We do not sell or rent your data. We may disclose information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Newsletter details: while you are subscribed, plus a minimal record so we do not email you again after you unsubscribe.

Contact enquiries: up to 12 months after our last contact, unless needed longer for a complaint or legal matter.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, withdraw consent, and object to or restrict how we use it.
